Festival of Art and Blooms

Blooming Sustainably

Kenya Flower Festival (KeFFlo) is an annual social event, geared towards celebrating Kenyan flower enthusiasts with an aim of promoting and inculcating a culture of using fresh cut and garden flowers in our events, homes, offices, and all spaces of life, while also creating a vibrant local market for flower farms operating in the country.
KeFFlo is dedicated to appreciating, celebrating and showcasing our love for flowers in a relaxed manner as the guests enjoy a drink and snacks and experience how flowers can be used in times of joy, in times of difficulty, in times of hope and in times of triumph.

KEFFLO 2023 – 3rd Edition

Kenya Flower Festival (KeFFlo) is an annual social platform organized to bring together local flower enthusiasts, flower farms, florists, event planners, home gardeners, landscapers, and all things flowers in a fun way to promote a culture of appreciating flowers. The event aims at promoting and inculcating a culture of using fresh cut and garden flowers in our homes, offices, and all spaces of life to express our emotions, while creating a vibrant local market for sellers.
The festival has various floral themed editions. The inaugural edition in 2019 and the first ever in Kenya dubbed “Bloom in Bravery” was held in support of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
The event in 2019 was held at the Lord Erroll, Runda. It was graced by the British High Commissioner, H.E Jane Mariott as the chief guest. It also attracted other diplomats including the Portugal Ambassador, trade dignitaries in ministry of trade and tourism, flower growers, celebrities and flower enthusiasts. It was a colorful and successful event! we also held an Award Gala ceremony for the florists and participating flower enthusiasts.
In 2021, we also broke the odds of events in a pandemic year, hosting a mega 2-Day  festival at the Radisson Blu- Arboretum under the theme “When Hope Blossoms” a message of hope to flower enthusiasts in Kenya and the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. The event hosted an in-person attendance and a virtual presence. This show had celebrity florists from various parts of the world attending, including South Africa, Angola, Uganda and Tanzania. We held a floristry workshop conducted by a celebrity florist from South Africa, Mabel Maposa.
